It's a whole weekend! We wanted as much time as possible to celebrate with our favourite people.

All wedding events, from the Welcome Party to the Ceremony & Reception and Recovery Breakfast, will take place at The Cove. Most meals will be provided, and every cabin has its own kitchen, so once you arrive, there’s no need to go anywhere!

Beyond the celebrations, we hope it feels like a mini holiday. You’ll be surrounded by nature, with paddleboards and kayaks available, stunning beaches just steps away, and plenty of beautiful walks and hikes nearby.​​​​​​​​​​​

​We’d really love for everyone to stay onsite with us for the full weekend. That’s part of the magic of The Cove! That said, we understand that everyone’s situation is different. If you’re unable to stay for the full weekend or prefer to arrange your own accommodation, please let us know as soon as you can. We're organising accommodation based on all invited guests staying on-site, so early notice helps us plan accordingly and open up spots for others.

If you’re staying elsewhere, just keep in mind The Cove is located in Booderee National Park, about a 30-minute drive from Hyams Beach and other nearby towns, and once you're there, it's a bit remote (in a good way!).

We’re so excited to celebrate over a whole weekend with all our favourite people! Many of whom are travelling from near and far and that means so much to us. We’ve planned a weekend that’s all about celebration and making the most of our time together.

The festivities kick off on Friday, when everyone arrives at The Cove. That evening, we’ll gather for drinks & oven-fired pizza.

​

Saturday is the big day! Start your morning with an optional beachside yoga session, followed by breakfast at the Pavilion. Then it’s wedding time!

​

On Sunday, we’ll wrap things up with a recovery breakfast before check-out at 10:30am.

​

There’ll be plenty of downtime throughout the weekend to relax, explore, or make the most of The Cove’s beautiful surroundings.

If you feel like taking it easy, The Cove has lots of spots to unwind. Stretch out on the beach just steps away, enjoy the picnic area near the Glamping tents, or have some fun with the life-sized chess set on the grounds. If you’re bringing little ones, there’s also a small playground on site. For those feeling a bit more adventurous, The Cove offers free paddleboards and kayaks to explore the calm waters right out front.

If you’d like to venture a little further, Booderee National Park is home to some of Jervis Bay’s most beautiful beaches:

- Murrays Beach (famous for its soft white sand and great snorkelling)

- Green Patch Beach (known for calm turquoise waters and friendly wallabies that often hop by)

- Cave Beach (loved for its dramatic sea caves and reliable surf waves)

For a scenic walk, try the Munyunga Waraga Dhugan Loop Walk (6.1 km) starting at the Murrays Beach car park. It’s a peaceful circuit trail around the southern headland of Jervis Bay, offering stunning coastal views and native bushland.

Whether you’re paddling, exploring, or simply lounging in the sunshine, we hope you soak up every bit of this beautiful weekend!

Our venue has a range of accommodation types, including cabins, glamping tents, and the large Fun House. ​We’ll be allocating rooms ahead of time to make sure everyone is comfortable. Groups will be placed together, for example, families will be in the same cabin or tent. If you have any strong preferences about who you’d like to share with or where you’d like to stay, feel free to let us know and we’ll do our best to accommodate.

​

When you arrive on Friday, you will be directed you to your room, and from there, all you need to do is relax and enjoy the weekend.​ You can find more in the Accommodation section.

To keep things simple, The Cove has set a fixed price of $150 per adult per night (2-night event, so $300 per adult), and children under 12 stay free.​

​

Whether you’re in a glamping tent, a cabin, or one of The Fun house rooms, all accommodation types follow that same fixed price.

This gives us plenty of time to organise accommodation and make sure everything’s set for our wedding weekend. We can’t wait to celebrate with you!

We’re keeping things intimate, so only those listed on your invitation are welcome. If you received a plus one, their name will appear on your invite. Thanks so much for understanding!

Unfortunately, no pets are allowed within Booderee National Park.

The Welcome Party will start at 6:00pm and wrap up around 10:00pm.

The wedding events will start at 2:00pm. Please stay tuned for a more detailed plan to be published soon.

The reception will wrap up at 10:30pm at the Reception Hall but the celebrations don’t stop there! For those who want to keep the celebrations going, we’ll be hosting an after party on The Cove grounds. Location and details will be shared closer to the date.

Please note, each cabin has its own kitchen and BBQ, and the glamping area includes a communal kitchen, so you’re welcome to bring any snacks or extras for in-between meals or late-night cravings. The Cove is about a 30-minute drive from the nearest shops, so it’s a good idea to come prepared.

Welcome Party: Smart Casual​

Wedding Day: Coastal Formal

Think elegant but relaxed enough for a beachside setting. Lightweight fabrics, soft colours, linen suits, flowy dresses, and dressy sandals or loafers are perfect. As parts of the day will take place outdoors, we recommend keeping comfort and the natural surroundings in mind when choosing your outfit.

​

Also, our lovely bridesmaids will be wearing pink, so if you’d prefer to avoid matching them, you might want to choose another colour (but no stress if you love pink and want to wear it as well!).

Phone reception is limited, however free WiFi is available. This might be the perfect chance to switch off a little and enjoy being surrounded by nature!

The glamping tents don’t have their own power outlets, but there’s a dedicated power station in the nearby facility shed, along with plenty of power boards in the communal kitchen. The tents also come with fairy lights and a battery-powered fan. Plus, there’s a dressing room close by with additional power points. Everything at The Cove is within easy walking distance, so you’ll have access to everything you need.

The glamping area has a communal bathroom with showers and mirrors.

We’ll also have The Cove’s Getting Ready room available for guests staying in the glamping tents. It’s right next to the reception area, only a short stroll from the tents, and has dressing chairs, mirrors, and air conditioning for a comfortable space to get ready.

​

If you’d rather stay in your tent, that’s completely fine too. There’s plenty of space and beautiful natural light. Just keep in mind the tents don’t have mirrors, so we recommend bringing one along if you’d like to use your own space.

Also, chances are, you'll know someone staying in a cabin or the Fun House, so if you'd like to turn the morning into a bit of a getting-ready slumber party, feel free to team up and get ready together.

Yes! Every cabin, room, and glamping tent has its own designated parking spot. If you're able to carpool, even better!

Rain or shine, the celebration goes on! We have a wet-weather plan in place.

If you're staying in a glamping tent, no need to worry! All tents are fully waterproof, and the communal areas are sheltered and close by. Just pack accordingly, and we’ll make sure everyone stays comfy and dry!

We're sure you will! The Cove is surrounded by nature and is home to plenty of friendly locals. For our Aussie friends, this will all feel familiar. For our overseas guests, welcome to the true Australian experience!

The kangaroos at The Cove are friendly and very used to people so you'll likely see them hopping around. They're gentle and curious, but please don't feed them. If a kangaroo comes up to you and seems happy to interact, you'll know. Otherwise, let them relax and enjoy their space.

It's snake season in Australia from September to April, so you might spot one basking in the sun. If you do, just give it space and let it move on. They're not interested in people, so there's no need to worry. Simply admire from a safe distance and stick to clear paths.

And last but not least, this is Australia, so spiders are pretty much part of the furniture. You might not see any but if you do, don't worry you'll hardly notice them after a while!

Your presence is the greatest gift we could ask for. It truly means the world that you're choosing to spend the whole weekend with us. From taking time off work, to travelling, to paying for your accommodation. We know it’s a big commitment, and we’re so grateful, so no, we don't have a gift registry. Just come ready to celebrate, relax, and make memories with us!
